Vinicius dances and the name Ronaldinho unexpectedly resurfaces

The debates over Vinicius Junior's celebration methods unexpectedly evoke Ronaldinho's image as a notable point of comparison.

The controversies surrounding Vinicius Junior continue to be a hot topic in European football. According to RTBF, former midfielder Eden Hazard has spoken out about his former teammate at Real Madrid, offering some noteworthy advice regarding how the Brazilian forward expresses his personality on the field.

Hazard spent four seasons playing for Real Madrid and had extensive time with Vinicius in the dressing room. Although injuries prevented them from frequently playing together, the former Belgian captain stated that he understands the Brazilian star's mindset quite well after years of interaction and observation in a major club environment.

Speaking about his younger colleague, Hazard said he always sees a player who plays football with joy. However, given the increasing controversies, this former midfielder also offered straightforward advice: “As a friend, I would tell him: ‘Be careful. Play football the way you want, but be very careful.’”

According to Hazard, Vinicius should focus on football and enjoy the game instead of getting caught up in debates off the pitch. He said: “People are on your side, so play football, enjoy it, and make us—the true football fans—feel happy. When you dance on the field, dance in a way that makes people like you.”

To illustrate his point, Hazard mentioned Brazilian legend Ronaldinho—a player famous for his spontaneous playing style and celebratory dances. He said: “Ronaldinho also danced; I don’t recall there being so much noise about it back then.”

Alongside the advice, the former Real Madrid star also expressed admiration for Vinicius's resilience.“I lived with Vinicius for four years and quickly realized he is very strong both mentally and physically. To play at a top club and achieve such things… I truly have to tip my hat to him.”

Nevertheless, Hazard acknowledged that constant pressure from controversies, media attention, and off-field issues can affect any player. He even suggested: “I wouldn’t be surprised if someday, around age 30, Vinicius says he wants to stop, that he’s leaving football because nothing has changed.”

Currently, Vinicius remains a crucial pillar in Real Madrid's attack and frequently shines in major matches in La Liga and the Champions League. However, Hazard's comments show that even top world stars face immense pressure off the pitch.
