Both Uzbekistan and Philippines finished the group stage in third place with 3 points and a goal difference of -2. The difference lies only in goals scored: Uzbekistan scored 4 goals (conceded 6), while Philippines scored 2 goals (conceded 4). Uzbekistan temporarily ranks above Philippines in the third-place standings and officially secures one of the two advancement spots.
The Vietnam women's team currently has 3 points (win against India) and a goal difference of 0 (scored 2, conceded 2) after two matches played. In the final round, Vietnam must face Japan.
Vietnam will officially advance if they draw or lose to Japan by a one-goal margin. If they lose by a two-goal margin, Vietnam's goal difference will drop to -2, matching Philippines. At this point, the deciding factor will be goals scored.
If they lose by a margin of three goals or more, the Vietnam team will be eliminated.
