Jordan responds to the GOAT debate: I greatly admire LeBron's achievements, but such arguments only create animosity.

On March 9 Beijing time, during today's NBC program, Michael Jordan discussed the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) debate and shared his perspective.

"The term GOAT, I never agonize over it or get overly excited. For me, that concept simply doesn't exist," Jordan stated, "We paved the way for Kobe and LeBron. The beauty of basketball is that players from each generation continue to evolve the sport. But you shouldn't use that to belittle the predecessors who taught you the game and whom you once learned from."

"I would love to compete against LeBron and Kobe at my peak, but that can never happen... I feel this kind of debate only fosters hostility. I have no animosity towards current players, but some players indeed feel discontent because their contributions to basketball are forgotten."

"I think LeBron has had an incredible career, and I deeply respect his accomplishments. Kobe, Durant, all these players are the same. I believe they have significantly elevated the sport of basketball."

Over the years, the GOAT debate has never ceased, with Jordan and LeBron frequently being central figures in the discussion. Now, as a key subject of the debate, Jordan has offered his viewpoint. What are your thoughts on Jordan's perspective? Feel free to share your comments.
